Description
The Dwarf Orinoco Banana is thick skinned fruit of very good eating quality and has a good flavor. The fruits are very good when cooked green as well.
It is cold hardy and drought-resistant plant that is tolerant of many soil types and is also very shade-tolerant.
The fruit is very plump with angular edge shapes.
There is very little curvature to the fruit and the fruit can ripen on the plant without splitting.
The plant is hardy and withstands cold temperatures and wind, but must be supported when carrying large heads of fruit.
